Strength and Fitness Training
In addition to martial arts classes we have a wide variety of specialized strength and fitness equipment geared specifically for martial arts. Hand strength is particularly important for martial arts and unfortunately all too often neglected. We have all the necessary equipment for you to achieve world class hand strength if you are willing to put in the effort. Other favorites we have are heavy ropes, sand bags, Indian clubs and a sled.
Everyone has their own set of unique goals in their martial arts training. Some want fitness and fun, others want to learn self defense. If your goals include fitness, self defense, fun workouts, and/or traditional martial arts training, then Kuk Sool is right for you.
This particular self defense technique requires good hand strength to hook the collarbone. Otherwise the arm could be easily swatted off.
Traditional weapons training increases coordination, strength, balance and focus.
Low stance traditional forms build strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.
We occasionally get the chance to do some fun other activities as well.
Sparring works on timing, conditioning and control. This is traditional form of Korean wrestling known as Sseirum.
